Silky Plum Dress

Here's a pic of the outfit I wore today. The styling is a little off, but its been a long Monday. (Don't Mondays always feel a little long?)

And here's a close-up of the tights, to showcase the feminine floral pattern (pardon the mess on the floor):

Dress: Forever 21 Necklace: Wet Seal Bracelets: Wet Seal Ankle Boots: Gift from the hubby

Wow, that dress is way too short for the workplace ... and the tights may be pretty, but also inapproriate for the workplace ... save this look for weekends, please.

Luckily for me (and unluckily all at the same time), I don't have to dress work appropriately since I'm a student. Besides, I'm young if I can't wear short dresses now, when will I be able to in the future?

But agreed, not appropriate for the workplace. Although, I'm not sure why most people must dress conservatively for work (besides that dressing in a certain way is part of the culture of work and norms of the workplace dictate appropriate wear). I think people should dress in a way that is most comfortable for them, especially if they don't deal with clients/customers regularly. And if they do, then an outfit that puts both the customer and the worker at ease is the best alternative in my opinion.
